Student with depression: the perspective of a close person

This thesis focuses on students with depression and their close persons. The aim of this thesis is to map various aspects of coexistence with a student suffering from depression. It uses the perspective of these close persons, whose support of students with depression is essential. The teoretical part deals with defining the concept of depression using a historical perspective and the perspective of diagnostic manuals. It also focuses on various aspects of depressive illnesses, including their impact on life of the individual. The last chapter of the theoretical part then deals with coping and coping strategies. The empirical part of this paper tries to map different strategies of support for a student with depression, which close people tend to choose. In the case of depression, as a very serious illness, it can also be assumed that the psychological state of these close ones will be affected. Following this assumption, this work also tries to map the coping strategies that close persons use to support their own mental health. A qualitative methodology was chosen to attain the research objectives. Theoretical part deals with the characteristics of strokes, risk factors, prevention, symptoms and treatment of ict. It also deals about the consequences rehabilitation of patients after stroke. The thought of how ictus affects and change existing behavior of person, who was affected, but also how affected close persons. Also describes options of formal support, social services, contributions and organizations, which helps to people after CMP. Theoretical chapters are added research part focused on quality in the form of semi-structured interviews with three people after CMP and three people which are close to them, and who takes care about them after ictus, or still they care about them. This thesis explores the relationship between types of strong and weak ties used while searching for a job, in Kroměříž the city. The theoretical part of this thesis, based on the available literature, defines social capital, forms of social capital, and the strong and weak ties by major authors of this social field. In the practical part is conducted socio-economic analysis of Kromeriz the district and conducted a quantitative survey using the methods of questioning. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey results are evaluated and answered 7 specific questions. They also test the hypothesis and calculated using the formula Cramers rule of dependence between variables. There are recommendations in the conclusion, to improve the working situation in the area.
Depression from the prespective of close person

This thesis deals with depression and how illness perceive and experience a close person of people with depression. The theoretical part summarizes current knowledge about depression itself. It will also describe coexistence with people suffering from depression from perspective of partner or family member. One section focuses on access to person diagnosed with depression. The practical part will include qualitative research, which will be conducted through semistructured in-depth interviews . Depth discussions will provide persons who are in close relationship with depressive person. Research will focus on whether and how are their lives affected by living in such a situation.
